the layout process
The layout process is never fun for me, I rather dislike it. I always want to shoot and than walk away and let my creative team take over. Does that ever fully work out? No. You have to be involved in the whole process after the shoot has happened. This photographs is a glimpse of art of my process. Page layout.. gotta love it

back in NYC
well I am back and let me tell ya, it's sometimes hard to comeback to the city after being gone for a few weeks. You have to pay bills, deposit checks, give your bookkeeper all the receipts, open up a huge stack of mail(which used to me fun, now it's not cool)
and think about paying the taxes. Ugh!! On top of it all you realize your laptop is starting to go downhill and your big computer has totally died. You need a new MarkIII ad the one you just bought broke on the 2nd day of shooting. Do you hear me.. Sometimes it all go to shit and that's life. I say "F*ck it" it's not the end of the world especially when you shot non stop campaign and editorial that ROCKS.
A sneak preview of one.... and remember this is my polaroid, not the final

last burger in San Diego on friday
finished the week early on Friday. The city of San Diego hosted my week in California with the greatest weather conditions a photographer could ask for. It's always great when all the elements come together..
On Friday afternoon I had to run off to LA for an Ad campaign, but before I left I killed the jalapeno burger at the restaurant that I do not remember the name of.. Some brewery named after a german guy.. kaiser something. Perhaps I am totally wrong, but I am tired and this is about my burger and the photograph.
I love photographing my half eaten plates.. Perhaps a book idea? or a gallery show?
